Founded in the late 19th century, Cyrene Lodge #325 has been a steadfast presence in Clarion, Iowa. Our Lodge has witnessed significant historical moments, from the early days of settlement to the present. Over the decades, we have celebrated numerous milestones, including the construction of our iconic Lodge building and our centennial anniversary. Cyrene Lodge #325 was officially chartered, marking the beginning of a long-standing Masonic presence in Clarion.

Sesquicentennial Celebration
The celebration of the 150th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution was a significant event honoring both the Constitution and the principles of Freemasonry. Masons have long held the U.S. Constitution in high regard, as it aligns with many of their core values such as liberty, equality, and justice.

Centennial Anniversary
A celebration was held and a special coin was created for the Lodge’s 100th anniversary. The coin features intricate details that reflect the Lodge’s rich history and enduring legacy. It serves as a tribute to the Lodge’s members, past and present,

Digital Transformation
When the COVID-19 pandemic changed the way we connected, Cyrene Lodge quickly adapted by embracing digital tools to continue serving our members and community. Virtual meetings, online events, and digital communications became essential in keeping our lodge active and engaged. By embracing technology, we were able to maintain our traditions, offer support, and ensure that our members remained connected, even during the most challenging times.
2023
Lodge Becomes Local Cub Scout Charter Organization
When the church that served as the charter organization for the local Cub Scout pack decided to cancel its charter, the future of the pack was at risk. Thankfully, Cyrene Lodge stepped in to become the new charter organization, ensuring the Cub Scouts could continue their important work in the community. We are proud to play a role in helping nurture the next generation of leaders and community-minded individuals.
